Evaluating, improving and stimulating the adoption of sistemas silvipastoris in Brasil

The group was created in 2005 and is led by faculty member Ângela Maria Quintão Lana. It seeks more sustainable solutions in environmental, social and economic terms, through research and the use of technologies. The group has carried out work with the Graduate Program in Zootechnology, with the collaboration of researchers from other UFMG units and research institutions in Brazil and abroad. Its lines of research are: evaluation of tropical forage plants and agro-industrial waste and evaluation and/or simulation of production and reproduction systems of animals of zootechnical interest.
