Quality Control Of Products Of Animal Origin

Created in 2004, the group is led by faculty members Silvana de Vasconcelos Cançado and Lilian Viana Teixeira. Its research involves applying quality systems and norms in industries and laboratories analyzing food and analyzes the control of food of animal origin and its validation. Its lines of research are: evaluation of the quality of chicken meat and consumption eggs, implementation of quality systems in industries with food of animal origin and research of waste and contaminants in chicken meat, eggs and fish.
